Which one??

Chronological?  Functional?  Combination?
Which resume is right for you?

That's what I'm here for.  I love writing resumes, and helping clientele find the one that works best for them.

Here's the difference:
Chronological is a timeline of your work history.
Functional focuses on what you've accomplished rather than where you've worked.
Combination mixes it up...

Check out the link for more examples and descriptions.  Is your resume ready to go?  If not, let me know how I can help you.

What is a CV?

Have you heard of a CV?  Has an employer requested one?
A CV is a Curriculum Vitae.  It is latin, and for the most part means the "course of my life" according to Wikipedia definition.  I feel it's similar to a resume, although, more in story mode.  Rather than listing every single job description (or the most important ones anyway), it summarizes your work history.

Did you know that the US and UK have different expectations of what your CV should entail?  According to the above Wikipedia definition, the US version in that it is used in place of a resume.  This is especially true in the medical field.  It also more comprehensive than a resume, and includes publications, significant achievements, and even completed educational courses.

The version of a CV in the UK contains a summary of job history and qualifications, to include some personal information.

Here is another link I found to be helpful in providing tips towards a successful CV.  Hope this helps!

I love to see 'em smile...

I've been very busy lately with orders for resumes.  This really fancies me as it is something I really enjoy doing!  In the two years we lived in Turkey, I was only approached by one military retiree.  This was rather disappointing, as I had over 30 orders when we lived in Missouri.

Since we moved to England and have settled in, I've been asked to assist 5 people.  Some have been retirees, others military spouses, and even an active duty personnel who is separating.  It's been great seeing my creative juices flow again!  My customers have all had 100% satisfaction with their finished resumes, and are helping spread the word.  It's so good to see these people being proactive and prepared with this daunting task.  So, "thank you" not only for your referrals, but for your business!  It's not always easy being a military spouse, but you are a lifesaver with making me feel welcome.

I've also been keeping busy with my Stampin' Up.  I love to make cards and creative projects, and I have been blessed with making new friends.   I hope to host a "make-n-take" once a month.  Other moms need outlets too!

With finished products in hand (resumes and creative projects), they walk out the door with a smile on their faces.  And, I love to see 'em smile...
